On July 20, 2018, the Special Forum of “CQC Photovoltaic Product Top-runner Certification Scheme?(PVTCS)” & Seminar on the Testing and Certification Technology of Double-sided Modules was held in Shenzhen, China, which was organized by China Quality Certification Center ( CQC) and jointly hosted by? CCIC Southern Electronic Product Testing (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (CCIC-SET).

CECEP Solar Energy Technology (Zhenjiang) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Zhenjiang Company) was invited to attend the forum.

The forum mainly focused on the implementation progress and development direction of “CQC Photovoltaic Product Top-runner Certification Scheme (PVTCS)”, the latest certification requirements for “top-runners”?of double-sided modules, CQC’s new version of standards for IEC certification of photovoltaic modules, the introduction of international certification, etc.

In the forum, a ceremony to issue certificates concerning the new version of photovoltaic module standards was held. A number of industrial representatives from industrial associations, third-party testing & certification organizations, and photovoltaic enterprises attended the ceremony and witnessed this historic moment.

Compared with the old standards, the new standards?of IEC61730-1/-2 for photovoltaic modules involve more stringent test methods and more reasonable schemes for the approval of electric safety design and weather resistance of products.
